The Procedure of Salat al-Janazah

Third Takbir:

• The Imam says "Allahu Akbar" aloud for the third time.

Fourth Takbir:

• The Imam says "Allahu Akbar" aloud for the fourth time.

The grave is dug facing the Qibla. It should be deep enough to protect the body and prevent any disturbance.

Lowering the Body:

Dua (Supplication):
Those present at the burial site make supplications for the deceased, asking Allah to forgive their sins and grant them a place in Paradise.

Covering the Grave:
The grave is filled with soil, and a simple marker may be placed to indicate the location.
